About this book
January Cole runs security at the Paradox Hotel, a luxury hotel built beside the world's only time-travel airport. Wealthy guests stay there before booking trips into the past. Her years working near the timestream have left her with an illness that makes time slip around her, and she keeps catching glimpses of her late partner, Mena. Then a group of billionaires arrives to bid on control of time travel, a body turns up that only she can see, and the hotel starts to come apart around her. Told by one sharp, sardonic narrator, this fast locked-room mystery is also a story about grief, love and whether the past should ever be revisited.
